Breakfast Links Change Their Whole Life

Date March 22, 2008

This week was very eventful for me. On Thursday I decided to pursue an MS in Accounting instead of a PhD in Classical Archaeology. It was a pretty huge decision that I had been thinking about for months, and I was finally forced to decide. I just wasn’t ready to lock myself into a single career path. So that’s the deal. But on with the links…

Deeba at Passionate About Baking made an amazing looking focaccia loaf. There aren’t many things I like more than freshly baked bread, so it may be worth a shot.

Michael Ruhlman at Notes from the Food World discusses what brining is.

Mrs. W at Mrs. W’s Kitchen gives us a recipe for corncakes.

Elise at Simply Recipes brings us blondies. I am a big fan of dessert, so this looks like a keeper.

Here are amazingly detailed instructions on cooking a leg of lamb. It looks very easy to follow if you are doing it for the first time.

If you are into the whole eco-friendly food stuff, CNN has an article on food and fossil fuels.

Jenn at The Left Over Queen released a new e-book, The Secret Energy of Love through Food. Congratulations, Jenn. It looks pretty awesome.

Ham, cheese, and fried zucchini. Sounds delicious and Ben has the recipe for it, called calabacitas, at What’s Cooking.
