Breakfast Links Want to Eat Kebabs
September 14, 2008
I don’t have anything clever to say here (do I ever?), so just enjoy these great recipes and articles.
Recipe of the Week:
Chicken Reshmi Kebabs – Deeba at Passionate about Baking gives us these amazing look kebabs.
Links:
- Ben at What’s Cooking made fried quesadillas, Coyoacan style. How can these not be amazing? I also learned what Coyoacan is. Also also, Ben has decided to go to culinary school in Mexico, which is awesome.
- Start Cooking has everything you wanted to know about mushrooms. I don’t cook with mushrooms often, so this was pretty helpful.
- More than Burnt Toast made golden bruschetta with fresh mozarella, tomato, and pesto. The picture just looked really good.
- Peter is back at Kalofagas after a trip to Greece and made Soutzoukakia Smyrneika with olives (meatball sort of things).
- I was originally going to link to a scrambled eggs and pancetta recipe at How to Cook like Your Grandmother, but then I saw Drew’s older article about rendering and storing bacon fat. Who doesn’t want to know how to do that?
- Quintuple Chocolate Brownies at eat me, delicious. Pretty self-explanatory.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

*BLUSH* Andrew…thanks for having my recipe on as the recipe of the week. They’re actually quite the simplest kebabs & full of flavour. The good thing is that you need no specific Indian spices for them, & they shallow fry without falling apart! Thanks a ton for the mention…& for all the other yummy links! Have a good day!!
